Russian refineries do not produce gasoline in the same volumes

It is worth noting that in May Russian oil refineries (refineries) reduced gasoline production to a minimum of one and a half decades. This was reported by Reuters with reference to its own calculations based on data from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

“In May, Russian refineries reduced gasoline production to a 15-year low of 2,477 million tons. This happened against the backdrop of a global deal to limit the supply of oil and restrictions associated with coronavirus, “the report said.

In addition, according to the agency, the volume of primary oil refining in the reporting month fell to a seven-year low and amounted to 21 million tons. This happened as a result of the economic consequences of the pandemic. In addition, the agreement to reduce oil production to maintain prices also led to a decrease in its refining volumes. : ///
